University pathways
If you haven't had the opportunity to enter university direct, TAFE Queensland can help put you on your pathway to university.
As a TAFE graduate, you can articulate to university and - in some cases - obtain credit transfer to reduce the time it takes to complete your degree. You may also be able to gain entry to the university of your choice by upgrading your OP/Rank through a TAFE Open Learning qualification.
How do I find out which courses articulate into university?
The TAFE Queensland pathways to university publication [PDF 1.8 MB] contains information about credit transfer arrangements between the whole of TAFE Queensland-that is, qualifications available at any of the TAFE institutes-and various Queensland universities.
In many cases, individual TAFE institutes have separate arrangements with Queensland universities in addition to those covered in this publication. Send us an email or call us on 1800 657 387 for further details.
How do I apply?
Before enrolling, you should always contact both TAFE Open Learning and the relevant university to make sure you have the correct information, and to find out how to apply.
