How to enrol

Before enroling, you must:

Direct entry enrolments

There are five ways to enrol into a direct entry course.

Online

Please note that not all TAFE Open Learning courses are available for online enrolment.

You can only pay by credit card when enrolling online.

  1. Go to the TAFE Queensland Student self service. If you have not used the website before, you will need to register for access. Your user id and password will be emailed to you after registering.
  2. Once you've logged in, click the My Enrolment link. You will then be able to follow the step-by-step instructions to complete your enrolment.
  3. Once you've completed the enrolment process, print and/or email yourself a copy of the Enrolment Confirmation for your records.
  4. Your receipt will be available via the My Documents Requests link.

Telephone

You can only pay by credit card when enrolling over the phone.

  1. Have your credit card and any relevant concession cards on hand before calling.
  2. Call us on 1800 657 387 and we will help you complete your enrolment.

Mail

You can pay by credit card, cheque or money order when enrolling via mail.

  1. Complete the enrolment form for the course you wish to enrol into. This form is specific to the course you wish to enrol into. To find the enrolment form for the course you're interested in, do a course search.
  2. New students must complete the new student personal details form [PDF 109kb].
  3. Mail your completed forms to:

    TAFE Open Learning enrolments
    GPO Box 1326
    BRISBANE  QLD  4001

Be sure to attach your cheque or money order to your enrolment forms (credit card details should be included on the enrolment form).

Fax

You can only pay by credit card when enrolling via fax.

  1. Complete the enrolment form for the course you wish to enrol into. This form is specific to the course you wish to enrol into. To find the enrolment form for the course you're interested in, do a course search.
  2. New students must complete the new student personal details form [PDF 109kb].
  3. Fax the completed forms to 07 3259 4377.

Application enrolments

Some TAFE Open Learning courses require you to submit an application to be assessed before you are able to enrol into it. Each course is different, so check the course page for more specific information.
