How do I enrol?
You can enrol by fax or post. A good place to start is to browse the Course Search area to find the program you are interested in. Then request an enrolment information pack by contacting the Customer Service Contact Centre on 1800 657 387 or (617) 3259 4111 (from overseas).

Is there a toll-free number?
Yes, the toll-free number is 1800 657 387.

When do I enrol?
You can enrol at any time of the year, 52 weeks a year.

How long before I receive my learning materials?
You will receive your learning materials within 10 working days of the Institute receiving your completed enrolment form.

Can I change to another course after I've enrolled?
You may be able to transfer into another course. For further information you will need to contact the Customer Service Contact Centre on 1800 657 387 or (617) 3259 4111 (from overseas).

Note: Transfers are not permitted for Fee For Service courses.

How much does it cost?
Fees vary according to the program and units of competency you have selected. Generally fees include a student service fee, a tuition fee and a learning material fee. Depending on the program requirements there may be additional fees for students who wish to use on campus Institute facilities. Contact us for detailed information on the fees for individual courses or units of competency.

Can I get a concession?
For some courses, a concession rate on tuition fees is available. Fee For Service courses and short courses do not attract a concession. For more information, see Fee exemption/concessions.

How do I get a refund?
The Institute's Refund policy provides full details.
Note: Refunds are not permitted for fee-for-service courses.

How old do I need to be to study at TAFE Open Learning?
For most programs you need to be 18 years old or above, however there are exceptions depending on the entry level requirements for indivual programs and/or school to work programs. For further information please contact us.
