Payment plans
You must apply for a payment plan on the prescribed form. This is available by contacting our Customer Service Centre who will also assist you with the terms and conditions of our credit Policy.
Approval
Payment plans will only be provided upon approval by the relevant Institute Director or delegated officer. Where a payment plan has been approved, you will be enrolled. Before each payment is due, you will receive a TAFE Queensland invoice/ statement detailing the exact amount for each of the monthly payments.
Refused applications
Where a payment plan cannot be approved we will request further information from you. If the plan is still denied, confirmation will be forwarded to you in writing.
Recovery action
If you are granted a payment plan, you are liable for all payments even if you discontinue your study. Failure to remit payment may result in the debt being referred to a debt collection agency for recovery and legal action. Costs for this action will be incurred by the debtor and no future Time To Pay plans will be approved.
Centrelink allowances
If you wish to claim an allowance from Centrelink you will need to seek advice directly from Centrelink on 13 2490 (Student Allowance) or 13 2317 (Abstudy/ Pensioner Education Supplement). Details on full-time and part-time study workloads are included in your program brochure.
