Fee concessions
For some courses, a concession rate on tuition fees is available. Concessions do not apply to fee for service programs, including short courses.
A 75 per cent reduction of tuition fees on Government funded programs only is available to eligible students that include:
- Centrelink Health Care Card holder
- Centrelink Health Benefit Card holder
- Centrelink Pension Card holder
- Department of Veterans Affairs Pension Blue Card holder only (Certified copy of card is required)
- Students under the age of 17 on 28 February of year of study who have not completed Year 12 (Certified copy of birth certificate is required)
- Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders (Written evidence is required). Students with a Centrelink concession will be validated through our online validation process direct with Centrelink. Proof of eligibility must be provided at the time of enrolment. If concessions are not claimed at the time of enrolment, full fees will be charged and NO adjustments can be made.
Government funded programs
Many programs are largely funded by the government and the fees charged to students are only a very small part of the total cost. Government funded programs are available to Queensland residents only.
Please note: Students living outside of Queensland (at the time of enrolment or for more than 6 months) are not eligible for any fee concessions and full fee for service rates apply.
Fee for service programs
A fee for service program is a commercial activity that is not funded through the Government fund sources. Fees payable on fee for Service programs are charged on a cost recovery basis and no fee exemptions apply.
